Yes, these are genuine exploding dye packs. They have been disabled. There are VERY few of these in existence. It is VERY rare to get a glimpse of these. We were able to get 2 units. They are new, and still in the original box. We will only rent them to bonafide feature films and television programs. They have been disabled, but they are absolutely real and genuine.
